POSITION SUMMARY:

Special Procedures Technologist: Operates Radiology Diagnostic equipment to obtain clinical diagnostic x-ray images; coordinates special procedure exams, to ensure and maximize utilization of special procedures suite; under direct supervision of physician "scrubs" and assists during the procedures; ensures the sterility of the field, by observing appropriate sterile technique.

Qualifications

Training and Education

Graduate of approved Radiologic Technologist Program

Experience

Prefer three years current radiology technology experience

Required Licenses

Current Registration by the A.R.R.T. in Radiography

Current CPR/BLS certification
