Temporary CAT Scan/Radiology Technologist

Description

Performs diagnostic imaging services by applying knowledge of anatomy, cross sectional anatomy, positioning and radiographic techniques to achieve and maintain quality images. Evaluates clinical information and completes documentation as required. Performs any related task needed to provide quality patient care and service. Provides superior customer service.

Essential Functions:
- Effectively performs quality CT procedures and diagnostic imaging procedures
- Maintains imaging equipment cleanliness and assures availability of necessary supplies for daily operations
- Performs assigned quality assurance tasks and monitors data collection; reviews department systems and policies/procedures, and recommends enhancements for optimum departmental operations
- Schedules appointments, properly files and/or retrieves images (PACS)
- Willingness to perform any related task needed to provide quality patient care and service; practice excellent customer service skills
- Recognizes and responds appropriately to emergency situations


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
- Graduate of an ARRT accredited School of Radiologic Technology with valid CT certification
- Certified and registered with the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT)
- Certified in CT by the ARRT 
- Valid State of Ohio licensure in Radiography 
- BCLS certification from the American Heart Association


Preferred Qualifications:
- One year CT experience preferred
